Royal London Asset Management is one of the UK's leading investment companies, managing assets on behalf of a wide range of institutional and wholesale clients, as well as its parent company, Royal London Group, the UK's largest mutual insurer.
Royal London needed artwork for its themed conference suite. Each room is named after a different London bridge and pictures were needed that reflected this.
After showing a team from Royal London our work on location at another client site we took a detailed brief. We proposed a shortlist of alternative prints, finishes and costings. We discussed the finishes available and after a few iterations the short list was narrowed down to a final selection.
The result was twenty uplifting canvas prints. A variety of different styles were adopted. As an example, for the Chelsea Bridge room we produced a giant panorama. By way of contrast, for the Southwark Bridge room we produced a quadrant of smaller canvas prints. For the other rooms either single canvases or small portfolios were installed.
Nichola Fernandez, Interim Facilities Manager said "Our initial thought was to commission a photographer to shoot images for us. But we found the Mr Smith collection online and realised that we could buy the prints we needed from their catalogue. This was a cost effective solution for us and we were really pleased with the result."
