Found in museums around the globe, DIASEC acrylic prints have been selected by our office and home clients as well as art collectors. Large prints are particularly suited to this format. Artworks produced decades ago using this process still look like new today.
We offer reflective and an anti glare / low reflection alternatives. Most customers choose the regular, reflective finish which boosts colours.
Equally stunning is the anti - glare finish which looks very different and is suited to very bright spaces where lighting creates excessive reflections. It is etched on one side to a satin type finish ensuring no loss of clarity is suffered by the image. We can help you to decide between finishes.
Archival pigment or Lambda C prints are sealed using the patented DIASEC process and faced with clear cast Perspex. Prints are bonded to the aluminium back plate with an acrylic based adhesive, which strengthens over time.
The sealing not only provides protection against UV rays, air pollution and weather influences, it also gives images a unique effect of depth. DIASEC is normally faced with 3mm clear cast Perspex which is five times stronger than ordinary float glass with superior light transmission.
DIASEC prints are fixed to bespoke aluminium sub frames, tailor made for each artwork. The subframe sits on the supplied baton which is fixed to the wall.
Hanging is easy and once hung in place the picture appears to float away from the wall with no obvious visible means of support.
Prints are made to order to your exact specification and supplied ready to hang. The lead time from confirmed order to delivery is 10 – 15 working days.
