Spirit of a Place - Exhibition in Dubai
An exhibition of my work is currently running at the Empty Quarter Gallery at the DIFC in Dubai. It is a joint show with my good friend and accomplished photographer, Sami Nabeel and is entitled “Spirit of a Place”. The work is drawn from my Original Photographic Art portfolio and comprises a series of work in editions of eight.
The exhibition features thirty six black and white images created over many years. My contribution is eighteen prints of sacred places from Indo China, Africa, India and Iran. Sami’s exhibits feature his personal take on the City of Venice.
The Empty Quarter is the only gallery in Dubai dedicated to Fine Art Photography and has a beautiful setting in the Heart of the Financial District.
The show runs until May 22 and included in this post are a series of installation shots as well as pictures from the opening night.
