2010's - A Decade of
Colour Photography

A decade of World photography seen through a single photograph from each of ten years. This is one of three reviews of the 2010's. 2010: California, USA

A panoramic view captured at dawn in Death Valley.

2011: New Mexico USA

One of the most photographed locations along Route 66. The Blue Swallow Motel in Tucumcari is visited by thousands people and vehicles from all over the world each year.

2012: Cambodia

The temple complex at Angkor in Cambodia is one of the key archaeological sites in Asia. It's hard to believe that just the other side of that wall you're in Hollywood. (Preah Khan featured in Tomb Raider and Indiana Jones - The Temple of Doom amongst other Hollywood movies.)

2013: Nebraska, USA

Car Henge - a "replica" of Stone Henge in England made from old vehicles.

2014: Abu Dhabi

A beautiful dawn at the Grand Mosque in the UAE. At the time this image was created the mosque was just seven years old.

2015: Vietnam

From Hue, another of the world's great locations. This is one of many historic buildings in the Complex of Hue Monuments, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

2016: Norway

The Lofoten Islands are home to some of the most beautiful places on earth. This image was captured before the region became one of Instagram's top European locations.

2017: Thailand

A contemporary temple, constructed in 2005 at Chiang Rai in the far north of Thailand. Slightly off the beaten track and quieter than many other religious monuments in the region.

2018: Korea

Traditional housing, something of a contrast to most of the architecture in this ultra modern city.

2019: London

The City of London skyline after a decade of construction. Many of the buildings in this scene did not exist ten years earlier.
